MECALBI’s fifth appearance at the Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo in Milwaukee next May will be marked by the introduction of an automatic centering solution for conveyor-based heat shrink systems, widely used particularly in the American market.
The importance of the American market for the Portuguese company MECALBI is once again reflected this year in the launch of a new solution designed to improve processes based on conveyor heat shrink systems. The Integrated System for Automatic Centering – ISAC14 aims to solve what has until now been an exclusively human-dependent quality requirement: the correct positioning of the heat shrink tube on the harness.
In a market largely characterized by the use of conveyor-based heat shrink systems, the Electrical Wire Processing Technology Expo provides the ideal ground to showcase this new solution, which will reduce process time and human error while increasing quality and efficiency.
This innovative and unique device will initially be available as an add-on for MECALBI’s STCS-CS14, with a similar solution expected to be developed for the company’s larger conveyor model, the STCS-CS19.
